Auron is a character in Kingdom Hearts II, originally from Final Fantasy X. Auron is the only Final Fantasy character to officially join Sora’s party,

Final Fantasy X

A warrior that Hades called forth from the Underworld.

In exchange for his freedom, Auron was commanded to defeat Hercules. But he refused to work with Hades, saying, “This is my story.”

He doesn’t talk about himself very much. What sort of story has he written thus far?”

Hades becomes increasingly frustrated in his attempts to defeat Hercules, since the hero kills every opponent the Lord of the Dead throws at him. At Pete’s suggestion that he “Send somebody already dead and save him the trouble,” Hades decides to bring out the “mother of all bad guys.” He goes to the deepest dungeon in the Underworld and summons Auron, offering to let him out if he kills Hercules. Auron declines and insults him, derisively telling him that “This is my story, and you’re not part of it.” Hades, in a rage, attacks him just as Sora comes in, and the group escapes, battling legions of Heartless and Cerberus along the way. The dead warrior tells the Keyblade master that it seems they were fated to meet, and asks if he needs a guardian (a reference to his origins in Final Fantasy X). Sora politely declines and leaves.

Sometime later, Hades seals Auron’s free will into a statue and forces him to fight Hercules. But once again, Sora comes through and reclaims his soul, and the four of them defeat Hades. Later, Auron repays Sora by giving him the Guardian Soul Keyblade.

Auron is seen during the credits fading back into pyreflies, the essence of a person’s soul in Final Fantasy X.

Auron is naturally a physical character with a small handful of support abilities, including two to restore his MP. He attacks very quickly, leaping through the air to strike enemies, and his Limit Break is very powerful. Auron has one armor slot, no accessory slots, and two item slots. Alice is one of the Princesses of Heart who appeared in Kingdom Hearts and Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories. The world in which she appears is Wonderland, although whether or not this is her home world is debatable. Alice is the only member of the Princesses of Heart who is not, by technical terms, a princess (aside from Kairi).

A girl who fell down a rabbit hole into Wonderland. She often daydreams and is naturally curious. Falsely accused of trying to steal the queen’s heart, she was given an unfair trial and falsely convicted.

Fell down a rabbit hole into Wonderland. Arrested on suspicion of trying to steal the queen’s heart. Sora and his friends proved her innocence, but the Heartless captured her as part of their plan to open the final Keyhole.

Alice was falsely accused of stealing the Queen of Hearts’s memory and put on trial, but we intervened and helped her clear her name.

Alice’s image was first seen in the Awakening world, with silhouettes resembling her depicted in stained glass on the third pillar, which is prominently pink in color. Her being displayed in silhouette form is interpreted by some as a reference that she was still awake and out of harm’s way at that point, while others believe that the three images of her represent herself and the two other princesses who were still free at the time (Kairi and Jasmine).

Ansem the Wise, also known by his alias DiZ, is the former ruler of Radiant Garden. He spent much of his time in his study, researching the mysteries of the heart.

Truly an enigma.

DiZ appeared before Riku in the guise of Ansem, presenting him with choices regarding the darkness within his heart.

It is said he and the king have met.

The man who called himself “DiZ” and dressed his face in bandages to conceal it, now revealed to be none other than Ansem the Wise.

The true Ansem once studied hearts and the Heartless, but soon ceased his research for fear of disrupting the order of the worlds. But his apprentice Xehanort betrayed him, robbing Ansem of his discoveries and pride.

Since that time, Ansem was driven by vengeance — but when he saw Riku go so far as to give up his physical form to help Sora, he had a change of heart.

An entity shrouded in mystery.

A decade before the main games, Ansem the Wise was the ruler of the Radiant Garden, as well as a prominent scientist. He was also the master of apprentice scientists Xehanort, Braig, Dilan, Even, Aeleus, and Ienzo before they became Nobodies.

The sage was also the one who found the young Xehanort, on the brink of death, in the aftermath of a great battle by those who used Keyblades to fight, and nursed him back to health. Though the man had no memory of what happened to him before arriving at Radiant Garden, he still possessed a remarkable intellect and an insatiable curiosity. Thus, he became Ansem the Wise’s apprentice, joining the five others.

Ariel is the princess of the underwater kingdom, Atlantica. She is originally from Disney’s “The Little Mermaid”.

The youngest daughter of Triton, king of Atlantica. Outgoing and full of curiosity, Ariel hates being cooped up in her father’s palace. She dreams of visiting the world on land, where people live.

Her voice enchanted us in “The Little Mermaid” (1989).

Triton’s youngest daughter. Ursula tricked her into helping steal his trident. With help from Sora and the others, all was put right. Still, she’ll never stop dreaming of exploring the world outside her father’s palace.

Worried by Flounder’s disappearance, Ariel was cajoled by Ursula into forking over the king’s trident.

We helped Ariel save Flounder and recover the trident, and she resolved to tell her father the truth.

The seventh daughter of Triton, king of Atlantica. Ariel has the most beautiful singing voice of all the merpeople.

Aurora is a princess and one of the Princesses of Heart. Her appearance is taken directly from Walt Disney’s “Sleeping Beauty”. Although her original voice actress, Mary Costa, was alive at the time of Kingdom Hearts development (and is still alive today), Aurora spoke in dialogue boxes for her appearance.

A young woman with a lovely voice. She is loved by three good fairies and cursed by Maleficent. The sorceress captured Aurora to help open the final Keyhole.

She had her first encounter with Maleficent in “Sleeping Beauty” (1959).

It is unknown at what point of the original story Aurora was taken to Hollow Bastion by Maleficent, but the crown on her head suggests that it was directly before Maleficent lured her into pricking her finger on the spinning wheel, or after the whole story all together (as there is a ten year gap between Birth by Sleep and Kingdom Hearts).

Aurora’s likeness first appeared in Kingdom Hearts on a red-tinted pillar in the Awakening world. She was depicted in a state of sleep, suggesting that she had already been captured and imprisoned by Maleficent at this point.

She was first seen in Hollow Bastion when Maleficent attempted to open the Final Keyhole. Maleficent had placed Aurora in a standing glass case in the wall, alongside the other Princesses of Heart. Her heart left her when the keyhole was opened, but was returned to her when Sora sacraficed his own heart to save her and the other Princesses. Upon awaking, Aurora stayed in Hollow Bastion to stop the darkness from consuming the world. She also revealed Maleficent’s origins to Sora. When Sora finally sealed Kingdom Hearts, Aurora was returned to the Enchanted Dominion.

Although Aurora did not make an appearance in Kingdom Hearts II, her name was found to be part of the password to access the DTD in Tron’s world. In addition, many characters from her world appeared in the game, including Flora, Fauna, Merryweather, and Maleficent with her pet raven, Diablo.

Bambi is a young fawn, son of the king of the forest. He is a Summon character from Kingdom Hearts and Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories. He first appeared in the Disney movie “Bambi”.

A young deer, son of the great stag who rules the forest. He prances around and gives you items. The more foes Sora defeats, the better the items become. The type of items he gives varies depending on the area. Cost: 1 MP

Sora can call on Bambi for help anytime.

Bambi’s world was destroyed by the Heartless. However, the young fawn’s strong heart and will allowed it to be preserved in the form of the Naturespark Gem. After Sora finds this item in the 100 Acre Wood and takes it to the Fairy Godmother, she restores Bambi’s spirit and Sora gains the ability to summon him in battle.

In the second game, Bambi reappears as a figment of Sora’s memories. Sora obtains Bambi’s summon card after completing the 100 Acre Wood floor.

Bambi’s role in battle is to prance about the area, dropping huge amounts of MP Orbs. Any enemy defeated while Bambi is summoned drops more orbs than usual. Also, the more enemies Sora defeats while Bambi is summoned, the more orbs Bambi drops. If a certain amount of enemies are defeated while Bambi is in play, Bambi will make a great leap and drop a special item, usually Mega-Potions and Elixirs.

In Chain of Memories Bambi drops HP Orbs instead of MP Orbs.

Axel, the Flurry of Dancing Flames(?????? Odoru Hi no Kaze), is Number 8 of Organization XIII, who coincidentally was the eighth to fall. Considered a Trump card by the rest of the Organization, he acted as a double agent in Castle Oblivion, keeping track of Marluxia’s plans, then betrayed the Organization for his friendship with Roxas. His distinguishing features include his spiky fire red hair, sea green eyes, and his purple reverse-teardrop markings under each eye.

Axel wields red and silver weapons called chakrams, and utilizes the element of fire. He also controls the group of lesser Nobodies known as the Assassins.

Axel’s next appearance will be in Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days. He will be one of the playable characters in the multiplayer format.

A mysterious figure who stands in Sora’s path.

Hard to read, half the time Axel seems to just be messing around… but for all we know, he’s done more thinking than everyone else put together.

No. 8 in the Organization.

He is a shadow whose intentions and secrets are hidden from all.

Axel has no qualms about exploiting others to suit his needs. He used Sora and Naminé to silence Marluxia and halt his plot against the Organization.

Axel claims he and Sora have something in common, but that connection is unclear.

Organization XIII’s Number VIII. He commands fire and carries a uniquely-shaped weapon.

He has proven to be an odd duck of sorts within the Organization, lashing out against treachery, yet stirring troubles with his own betrayals all the while.

Aladdin is a character that appears in Agrabah in 4 of the Kingdom Hearts games. In the first Kingdom Hearts, Aladdin’s world was really based on the first Movie, in Kingdom Hearts II, however, focuses more on the “Return of Jafar”, or the second movie in the Aladdin film trilogy. Aladdin fights with a balanced combination of strength and agility, using his Arabian scimitar and even developing some thief skills drawing some munny, HP/MP balls and items.

A young man living in the desert city of Agrabah. He fell in love with princess Jasmine, but he’s afraid to tell her about his humble background. He found the legendary lamp and released Genie, who is now his partner.

He first stole our hearts in “Aladdin” (1992).

A young man living in Agrabah. He helped Sora defeat Jafar and used his last wish to release Genie from the lamp. Aladdin asked Sora and friends to help save Jasmine, who has been abducted.

Aladdin became Genie’s master when he found the magic lamp.

At first Aladdin wanted to become a prince and impress Jasmine, but in the end he gave Genie his freedom and decided to show Jasmine his true self.

Aerith is a character who lives in Traverse Town in Kingdom Hearts and Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories and Hollow Bastion/Radiant Garden in Kingdom Hearts II. Like most of Sora’s allies, she originates from the Final Fantasy series. Aerith is voiced by Mandy Moore in Kingdom Hearts, Mena Suvari in Kingdom Hearts II, and Maaya Sakamoto in the Japanese versions of both games.

An ally of Leon and Yuffie, Aerith is one of the three core Final Fantasy characters of the series, and takes an active support role with them in the defense of Hollow Bastion in Kingdom Hearts II. She also plays a part in Cloud’s story, though does not directly assist him as she does her other allies.

She lost her home to the Heartless at a very young age. Beneath her gentle disposition lies a strong will and a firm sense of duty. Many are naturally drawn to her. Aerith works with Leon and Yuffie to learn more about the Heartless and the “key”.

“Final Fantasy VII”

A young woman who fought the Heartless. Her calm demeanor hides an unbreakable will.

Aerith also has a mysterious sense of truth, and is aware that Traverse Town and it’s inhabitants are a figment of Sora’s memory.

Final Fantasy VII

A young woman whose quiet eyes belie an unbreakable will. Like Leon, she met Sora while living away from her hometown, and helped him now and then on his journey.

Now Aerith works with Leon and Yuffie to restore the town to its past splendor.

Aerith is encountered by Donald and Goofy on the first trip to Traverse Town, where she explains the nature of Ansem’s Report, as well as the Keyblade to them. She had a few more appearences along with Leon and Yuffie. Later, she showed up in Hollow Bastion after Ansem dissapeared, and spends her time studying the Heartless’s research in Hollow Bastion’s library. Talking to her will allow Sora to learn “Curaga”, the strongest cure spell in the game.

The Beast is a recurring character in the Kingdom Hearts series. He plays a big role in Kingdom Hearts and Kingdom Hearts II as an ally to Sora and his friends. He first appeared in Disney’s “Beauty and the Beast”.

A prince who was changed into a hideous beast because of his selfish heart. Belle has helped heal the loneliness he’s suffered due to his ugliness. To save Belle, he made his way to Hollow Bastion alone.

He was first enchanted by Belle in “Beauty and the Beast” (1991).

A prince transformed into a beast beacause of his selfishness. Meeting Belle restored humanity to his heart.

Though stunned by Belle’s cold behaviour, his faith in their love never wavered.
